CNC Machining for Aluminium Valve Bodies and Multi-Port Parts

Project profile

Project Profile

This aluminium body combines intersecting holes, threaded ports, sealing faces and features on several sides of the part.

  • Material: aluminium alloy;
  • Process: multi-face CNC milling;
  • Part type: valve body, manifold or equipment housing;
  • Disclosure: customer identity and drawing details withheld.

Manufacturing Challenge

Cross-holes and ports must follow the intended datum scheme while sealing and assembly faces remain protected. Cleaning and finishing requirements also affect how internal passages and threaded interfaces are handled.

Machining Approach

  • Plan the hole network and datum sequence before programming;
  • Separate sealing, assembly and cosmetic surfaces in the control plan;
  • Confirm cleaning, plugs and finishing requirements for the service environment.

Outcome

The route organizes multi-face features around a defined datum sequence and makes sealing, cleaning and inspection requirements visible before production release.

Customer identity, drawing details, order quantity and inspection values are withheld under confidentiality requirements.
