What you can verify before quoting

Pick a process by what you need controlled.

Each capability page explains typical geometry, drawing inputs and inspection questions. Achievable tolerance depends on the actual part, fixturing and measurement method — not on the process name alone.

  1. 5-axis machining5-axis CNC machining combines three linear axes with two rotary axes to reach angled faces and complex contours with fewer setups. It is useful when features on several faces must stay aligned to a shared datum.View →
  2. CNC turningCNC turning removes material from a rotating workpiece to produce shafts, sleeves, bushings and threaded components. Live-tool or turn-mill operations can add cross-holes and flats; slender parts require a separate review of support and machine suitability.View →
  3. CNC millingCNC milling uses rotating cutting tools to machine pockets, planar faces, holes and contours. Three-axis machining suits many prismatic parts; a fourth axis can index additional faces to reduce manual re-clamping.View →
  4. Wire EDMWire EDM uses an electrically charged wire to cut conductive material along a programmed profile. It is useful for through-slots, precision tooling profiles and hardened parts where mechanical cutting forces are undesirable.View →
  5. Sinker EDMSinker EDM uses a shaped electrode to form cavities in conductive workpieces. It can complement milling for deep ribs, difficult internal features and tooling geometries with limited cutter access.View →
  6. GrindingPrecision grinding removes small amounts of material with an abrasive wheel to control surfaces after machining or heat treatment. It is selected for flatness, thickness, fit and surface finish requirements that warrant an additional operation.View →

How we plan the route

What engineering confirms before production.

A capability name is only the starting point. Before production, we turn the drawing and project requirements into a practical machining, inspection and delivery plan.

Equipment

See the full equipment and inspection list.

Routes are run on the equipment that actually fits the part. The full list of CNC machining centers, turning centers and inspection equipment — and how each is selected against your print — lives on the equipment page.

Not sure which route fits?

Send the drawing — we will confirm the process.

Send a STEP file, material grade and critical tolerances. Engineering sends an initial response within one business day and confirms the machining route after drawing review.
