What we make for automotive

EV motor housing machined from die-cast blank

EV Drivetrain & Battery

Motor housings, inverter brackets, gearboxes and battery-module compression plates for EV platforms. Tight flatness and parallel features are critical for thermal interface material (TIM) performance and module stacking β€” we hold < 0.05 mm flatness on TIM interfaces across 300 mm, and Β±0.01 mm on bearing and seal seats. We machine ADC12 and A383 die-cast stock as well as billet, with thermal-interface surface prep (grinding, flatness verification) available in-house. Our standard delivery for EV structural parts includes CMM report with fullGD&T annotation, material certs (EN 10204 3.1), and IMDS submissions for all materials and coatings. Volume production supports IATF 16949-aligned quality plans with APQP stage gates.

Engine block cover and transmission housing

Engine & Transmission

Engine block covers, oil-pan rails, valve-train brackets, transmission housings and clutch bodies β€” the parts that have to ship year after year without drift. Tolerances land at Β±0.03 mm for housing features with PPAP-grade documentation: ISIR, dimensional layouts, MSA gauge studies and IMDS material declarations included in every lot. We support ductile iron (ASTM A536), gray iron (ASTM A48), aluminum 319 and 356, and forged steels. Production volumes from 100-piece pilot through 50k+ annual are managed under the same quality system with the same first-article process β€” so your dimensional data is comparable from prototype through SOP.

ADAS radar sensor mounting bracket

ADAS Sensor Mounts

Radar (77 GHz, 79 GHz), lidar and wheel-speed sensor brackets must hold their position over a million thermal cycles β€” from -40 Β°C overnight to +85 Β°C in direct sun β€” without the fastener relaxation that shifts your calibration target. We machine these small, complex brackets in 6061-T6 and 7075-T6, with dowel features and reference faces finished to your master. Tolerances on dowel locations: Β±0.02 mm; on bracket-flatness: < 0.03 mm. We can specify adhesive-bonding surfaces with controlled Ra (0.8–1.6 Β΅m) for structural adhesive joints, and we maintain a per-vehicle calibration fixture library so replacement brackets match the original spatial relationship to within 0.05 mm.

EV charging station hardware and connector assembly

EV Charging Infrastructure

Charging connector housings, handle assemblies, in-cable electronics enclosures and charge-station mounting brackets for AC and DC fast-charging stations (CCS, NACS, CHAdeMO). We work in UV-stabilized plastics (PA66, PBT), 6061-T6 aluminum and 316L stainless with IP-rated sealing surfaces and Type III hardcoat anodizing for outdoor durability. Common features: multi-axis undercut contours for ergonomic handle design, precision thread inserts for high-cycle plug engagement, and EMC shielding surfaces machined to Β±0.025 mm. Production volumes from pilot builds through 50k+ annual units. We support UL 2251 and IEC 62196 compliance documentation including material certs, IP67 seal-test reports and dielectric withstand-test data.

Automotive brake caliper and suspension components

Brake & Suspension Components

Brake caliper carriers, suspension knuckle machined faces, steering-arm indexed features and brake-booster pushrod tubes for original equipment and performance aftermarket. We work in 356-T6 aluminum, 319-T5 aluminum, ductile iron and forged 4130 steel β€” holding Β±0.02 mm on critical sealing and bearing surfaces, with surface finishes from Ra 0.8 Β΅m (hydraulic ports) to Ra 3.2 Β΅m (structural). Our standard package includes first-article dimensional report, material certs and hardness testing (Brinell/Rockwell) on heat-treated parts. For brake components we can provide fade-and-thermal-cycle test data from your specified test house, with material traceability back to mill heat numbers.

Powertrain test fixture and dynamometer mount

Powertrain Testing Fixtures

Engine and transmission test fixtures, dynamometer mounting plates, driveline indexing jigs and NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) test rigs for powertrain development. These components must hold alignment and stiffness under high dynamic loads β€” we machine in 4140 pre-hard steel and 7075-T6 aluminum, holding Β±0.01 mm on pilot bores and dowel features. We can incorporate strain-gauge rosette mounting surfaces for your dynamic-load testing program, and we coordinate with your NVH team on fixture mode-shape compliance to ensure the test data reflects the drivetrain and not the fixture. Standard documentation: CMM report, material certs, and fastener-torque specification sheet for your assembly team.

How we work

Materials, tolerances, collaboration

Automotive programs push for the same part, year after year, with no drift in fit or finish. Whether you are prototyping an EV drivetrain or keeping an ICE platform alive for its final revision, we treat your tolerances as a hard contract and your timing as a hard deadline. We have supported automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers through SOP, EOL and platform refresh β€” we know theθŠ‚ε₯.

Materials and tolerances

We are comfortable in ADC12 and A383 aluminum die-casting stock, ductile iron, and a range of structural steels. Forged blanks are machined on both sides when strength along the grain matters. Tolerances typically land at Β±0.03 mm for housing features, Β±0.01 mm for bearing and seal seats. For EV thermal management parts we machine directly from billet when the flatness spec on the TIM interface demands it β€” typically < 0.05 mm flatness across 200 mm.

Program support

From PPAP through SOP, our team is familiar with the documentation stack automotive customers expect β€” initial sample inspection reports (ISIR), dimensional layouts, MSA-grade gauge studies, and IMDS material declarations. We can hold your print revision and engineering change log inside our quality system so your tooling records stay current with every ECN. Our 10-year document archive supports your homologation and platform-extension programs without requiring re-qualification runs.

Volume ramp

We support bridge production from 10-piece pilot builds through 100k+ annual volumes, with the same first-article process and SPC program from day one. For high-volume programs we recommend soft tooling or semi-hard machining so unit cost drops without re-qualifying geometry. We run Gage R&R studies on key characteristics before lot release, and we can provide SPC data (X-bar, R charts, Cpk reports) with each delivery if your quality system requires it.
